75 front shackle reversal

Post by weno761 »

hi i have a 75 with 2-3 inch leafs and extended shackles. and want to do a shackle reversal so i get a better approach angle. sick of them digging in. and i believe it can be blue plated in QLD????

can anyone help me out???

i see superiour have the mounts is it as simple as welding the new mounts on with a castor wedge and a tail shaft spacer?

and will it still drive on the highway without getting death wobbles?

any info is appreciated

Ive done one on mine, to be able to retain the same pinion and KP angles you are going to need to space the front fixed mounts a fair way off the chassis.

This will lift the front of your car anywhere from 2-4" depending on how you do it with your current suspension setup.

Have a look at my build thread if you want.
