Hilux Leafs fit cruiser??

Post by Plageman »

Mate just wrecked his hilux and was wondering if the rear leafs would fit the front of my cruiser, if they would be longer it would help with my shackle angle. Would get them for cheap thats all...

Cheers

Technically yes but not a straight bolt in. The lux springs are thinner so youll need lux mounts or spacers.

Go to a wrecker and buy some old 75s springs and maby some 79s rears. Cheap ones and just make them up to what u need.

With a SOA and ext shackles near flat springs is a good thing

Might just get a set of 79 series rears from a wrecker and throw my rears up front sound like a plan????
That should get me pretty good shackle angles huh?

That would be a good setup but wont work without a fair bit of mods. Youll need to move all your spring hangers
