Hi guys,
I'm a newbie to this forum.
It's probably been asked before but, which one should I go for a HJ or a BJ. I wanted a ute but with a BJ I can cart my mates around with me.
Please tell me what you think.
Cheers,
toyotaforthewin

You can't cart much in the back of a shorty. Go for as late a model as possible either way. My HJ 47 troopy has been set up with additional forward facing seats in the back so I can cart 4 other people with cargo space at the rear. As always, be on the lookout for rust and other bits that have been flogged on them.

when i was looking at bj42's i got told by one seller he had 7 ppl in the bj42 at one time.. it had the back seats on the sides on the wheel wells..
it really depends how much stuff you want to cart around and what.. stuff or people? got a trailer? get a bj42.. but then again.. i'm slightly biased..

Utes have less panels so require less skills to driveShadow wrote:depends if you want to be a fairy and drive a shorty, or a mad c%nt and drive a ute
