I was told today by a mate who said that you have to have dual batteries the same size or one battery takes power from the smaller one I couldnt fully understand what he was saying so I thought I would ask the experts.
Sounds a little weird to me but then I dont know all.
Thanks

Duel Batteries The Same Size

Re: Duel Batteries The Same Size
Hi Dazza, as Scott posted, it’s just no the case.
What happens is, people hear how batteries have to be wired in series, where they need to be as close as possible in size.
They then think the same thing applies with batteries wired in a parallel set up.
The reality is you can use any size, type or age 12v lead acid battery with any other 12v lead acid battery or group of batteries.
