rangie engine swap
i have a 88 rangie with a very tired 3.5 with a rochester carby and am looking to do a engine swap . what would would be the best value option$$$$$
Re: rangie engine swap
the best "Value" option is to burn it to the ground and buy a toyota.
Re: rangie engine swap
3.9efi or 4.4 P76 although some will say they are getting old and parts are hard to find. I would have thought an 88 should have been efi and not carby so it would seem the motor has already been changed/modified
Re: rangie engine swap
i have an exelent 4.4 out of a p76 you can hear running if you want. its had the whole top end rebuilt and it hasnt done very much work as it was my fathers motor.
there is no such thing as a stupid idea... just a person who owns a rover!!!
Re: rangie engine swap
how much did you want for it??
Re: rangie engine swap
Then burn the worthless piece of jap crap for the insurance and buy a better rover.Dan346 wrote:the best "Value" option is to burn it to the ground and buy a toyota.
