The arb is only good if you use valve caps and the valves are clean.
1 grain of sand is all it takes.
Found out the hard way on a recent beach trip letting my old boys down.
Total flat by the time he realised.
I never let mine down
Not so keen to use it now. It is also cracked right out of the box.
I carry a 'Ryano spare box'!!!! arb punchure repair set with extra valves etc - keeps me out of trouble! Free plug for Ryano!

Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
Mate, myself and 10 of my mates that own them are still left scratching heads as to how it got stuck in there!!dogbreath_48 wrote:Strange failure - i can't see how that would happen!! Now that you have a new one, care to disect the old one and see what the situation is in there?
I had to send the old one back to ARB.
I did ask for some feedback as to why it happened but i doubt i will see any reply.
Get out there!!
Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
slightly off topic - but has anyone created/modified one of these deflaters to pull the valve core when inflating tyres?
i'm no engineer, but logic tells me that if a tyre deflates faster without a valve stem, then it must also inflate faster without one too.

Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
Unless your running an endless air i cant see a valve core causing inconvinience to most 12v compressors (the new ARB twin motor might be the exception)
2005 HDJ100 Manual, ARB bar, XD9000 winch, ARB rooftop tent + awning, Drawers, Engel, 2" OME lift, 285/75R16 KM2's, iCom, HID XGT's.
Re: ARB EZ Tyre Deflators
currently an endless air 6cfm with plans to add a tank and the arb twin motor compressor... i.e. 12cfmferrit wrote:Unless your running an endless air i cant see a valve core causing inconvinience to most 12v compressors (the new ARB twin motor might be the exception)
inflating one tyre is not a big deal, but if you inflate 5 cars worth of tyres in a row - it starts to make a difference.
