Check with zoltan he runs them in his high pinion front. I run 40 series in my low pinion front.

from what i have found out both the 40 and 60 cv's will fit. can anyone confirm this and possibly tell me which one would be the better choice?

Wrong guys hp HZJ75's all run 40 series / hilux cvs.

They are 27 spline on the axle side and 30 spline on the hub side.

Earlier HJ75's with the Lp 9.5 housing are also 40series cvs.

80 series cvs are much larger and are in the 79 series coil front.

Ahh-ha! That's where my confusion arose. Shame, really.

what the hell hey zoltan. my 1991 hzj80 cv is shorter then the later 16inch brake 80 too. weird why they made so many different combo's for the one centre

just went down the shed and recounted. on the axel the inner diff spline is 30, the outer side of the axel into the cv is 27 and the hub side off the cv is 30.

what a bitch why arent they all the same??

so i am guessing i need the 27 spline 40 or 60 series as they are the same??? to fit my standard axels????

not the 30 spline as i thought. lucky i didnt rush in and order the 30 that could have sucked.
