you can do either of these,

2 inch body lift, twin transfers using a clocked adaptor and shove the transfers up 5mm from the tunnel and there you have it.

alternativeley you could ditch the body lift and raise the trans tunnel. you could also ditch the duals and adaptor but you will need to raise the tunnel further,

or you could lower the belly plate.

should have mentioned lux has 2 inch body lift and duals. it has a comp X member on the rear of the transfer which i just need to block up to lift. just trying to sort the engine. anyone made some lifted engine mounts and have pics?

I am in the process of doing this to my surf. It wont be flat, but it wont hang down any where near as much as it does now.

Tufftruck team Salt & Pepper have done an engine lift. its a 25mm block on the engine mounts to lift it up approx 50mm

I just let my engine mounts twist. No dramas yet.

I have a set of snake racing engine spacers for the 2.8. I think it lifted it 40mm and worked fine when installed/simple to install. They probably still sell them or I have mine for sale as I removed them prior to selling my old luxy.

All the trucks I have built, I start by loosening the engine mount bolts on the rails, raise transfer case to desired height and modify / build cross member. Re tighten engine mount bolts. No dramas and have done it plenty of times.

cheers guys for the replys and bubs and willy will have a go at doing what you said as im sure i just need to lift the X member to right hieght.
