I found these pics on the Pirate4x4 forum and when I looked on the Trail Ready web site I was very surprised to see that we have three dealers here in Australia. I have contacted one of the suppliers and these new HD TR rims will be available here the next few months.

when i imported my alliled beadlocks late last year they were approx $100/wheel freight, only have to worry about gst, etc if the order is above $1000aus, so just have to make sure the receipt states yes the total cost delivered for 5 or 4 was only e.g. '$937' aus

Any beadlock whether designed or aftermarket is illegal. Although I am not sure on such rims like Hummers.

I'm not arguing but it seems odd since there's multipiece rims out there since the dawn of cars.
Split rims
Spicer style spider rims with bolted on demountable rim outers
military vehicles with bolt on beadlock/wheel assemblies
some heavy commercial/agricultural vehicles came stock with bolt together wheel assemblies
regardless, i'm selling my internals and about to get external beadlocks, the rims i have are 8 inch, and one of the dudes who wants to buy my locks wants to swap his 10" rims for mine with the second hole already in them.
While not having to weld up my old holes might be nice, i'm aware that welding on a beadlock ring effectively widens the rim by an inch. Do people think that 11" wide rims would be too wide for a set of 37 x 12.5 maxxis creepies? would it make it more likely to roll in internal bead?

My 38.5x12.5 boggers were on 10's with weld on beadlocks so 11's and i never rolled an internal bead, but how ever i didnt get the them to bag enough for my liking and was always scrapping the bead lock.... so i went back to a set of weld on beadlocks on 8's much better.....

I order a set of 16x8s last week through the Trail Ready on line store and have been impressed with there level of service.

Normal rule of thumb is that the rim should be 65-80% of the tyre width. This is to maintain the correct bead seating angle. This would also apply to rims with one mechanical beadlock to maintain the integrity of the non-locked side

I bought the rims through the Trail Ready on line store, they were very professional and had great customer service, they realized that my hub bores would be too big for the rims and wouldn't fit so they machined then for free before they left. My 16x8 converted rims sell for $340 each but due to the aus $ I paid $320 each.
