hay guys. Im intrested in buying a new GU patrol. Wonted to know if the 2.8 deisle was any good. And if its different to a 3.0 deisle.

the 3.0 replaced the 2.8. the 2.8 is somewhat gutless but you can improve that. however the main problem is a the injection pump, known to wear out quickly.

hey mate, 1 of the boys i know has a 2.8 and has never mist a beat. has 4inch ridepro lift, 35inch bighorns, draws and a steel bars. i have a 42td with similar set up and he goes everywhere i do, the only diff is towing on the high way. not recommended if going to be towing heavy loads reg.
