Got an f55 cab but the mudgards , front apron, and windsreen are bent and I'm looking for some bits do any panels swap over say from an f20 ect ? Help is always much appreciated cheers.

hey mate thats a good qs, we should be a sticky about what panels exchange etc. id like a set of late model rocky gaurds on my f77 , some one might some info for you. this forum is pretty dead atm :( , you could put up a few pics of your car to spark some interest maybe

Yes the panels interchange however the inner guards are different between the early and late moddle the mounts on the fire wall are are different that are dimensionally the same though.

I've put a 78 F20 front clip on my 80 F25

very good thanks for the info, over the last couple of weeks i have been striping down an f20 and found that that the panels are much the same as the f55 hower i did plan to use the f55 chassis but the front body mounts on the f20 body closest to the fire wall is in a different location, hense a different location on the chassis, meaning if i am to stay within the tuff truck rules as far as fire wall in original location on the chassis i will have to move the mounts on the chassis :cry: never mind just a bit more more fab work also Datman is that an f20 bonnet in the pick or an f55 cheers

That is an 88 F20 bonnet and apron with the ute's guards and inner guards it all bolted no mods needed.


I can get more detailed pics or information if ya want.
