Post by Lux_89 »

As above, im peicing my new trans together n have gotten to the engine... basically im fitting an r150 box to my 3rz. Now the 05 -on 2tr(2.7vvti) hilux's come with an r150 box, so im thinking ill need that bellhousing cuz it will my my r150 obviously but are the 2TR and 3RZ engine blocks the same? Im pretty sure they are, as there the same capacity but with a different head on them.. Any one in the know??

Cheersssss, Chris

Given the insane amount of HP and bulkload of Torque you've got on board, I'd suggest you look at a 2 speed powerglide, fully manualised with a 6.5 stally.
Will get you ultimate respect at Maccanats aswell as giving you the ability to drive EVERYWHERE on limiter!!! :finger:
