TJM Parramatta Australian 4x4 masters round 3 27th august..

Post by MogLux »

Hey there guys round 3 is fast approaching us...
It is being held on the 27th at the normal place turn 2 eastern creek raceway...
Not only do we have the standard 2 car team event Proudly Sponsered by TJM Parramatta this round but we also have a speed crawl...
Locktup4x4 has sponsered this section of the event with a winner takes all $500 voucher to spend in there store...
The Event will be Held in conjunction with the main event but with a twist..
The Locktup4x4 Outlaw Speed Crawl will be open to all TTC competitors, Buggies, Truggies... It will be a speed event so fastest time over all 7 trackes at the end of the day wins the prize...
Rules are simple....
rear steer allowed
Front digs allowed to the marshells discression - we dont want the tracks dug up
Reverse penalties will start from the 0 point marker...
There will be cones placed on some parts of the tracks ... these will be classed as braking bunting if you touch them...
All other rules as per masters rules and regs...
All cars must pass scruitineering to compete and drivers part of the CCDA..
Navi is optional
$200 PER VEHICLE to enter...
There will be a limit to 15 vehicles in this class so get in quick.. Entries and payment must be in 2 weeks prior to event...

We have already got a few TTC trucks entering, and a single seat buggy..
Team Rush will be part of the recovery team this round so for those interested in purchasing a well know Comp truck it will be on display there...

To win this new section of the 4x4 Masters not only will you need to drive fast but also drive with procision... Dont be hitting that bunting...
Hell Raiser 4 seat social buggy..

How does the scoring work for that? Fastest through with least penalties??

Are you guys running at the same time as the usual teams? or after we've been though?

I personally dont agree with the running of the two different classes of truck together. The tracks at masters are not TTC style tracks and i think to keep parity between all the trucks running 37's they should all run either before or after the 15 TTC trucks go through. Im all for you guys running but i just think we need to think through the details some more!

Agree 100%.

We know what damage a 37" tyre does to the track, let alone 42's. While i realise the rigs entering this are much more capable than my 40 or a few other Masters competitors rigs, and should in theory run around without much fuss, but if a masters team runs, then a TuffTruck rig goes through and tears up the track, digs holes and generally farks the track up then it's pretty unfair to the Masters competitors who are still yet to compete. If another Masters competitor rips up the track, then for me, shit happens. Ill deal with it, but a 42 or 44" tyre will do much more damage than a 37.
Everyone loves a 40!
