Triton Dual Battery

Post by Matt_85Lux »

Installed a Piranah offroad daul Battery tray in the Triton today and as it only fits a smallish battery I moved the starter battery to the new tray and am hoping there is now enough room to be able to fit a decent size deep cycle (hoping N70 size). You can undo the tape on the loom to separate the power cables to get enough length so there is no need to lengthen and you just reroute the earth lead. Hope this is helpful for anyone else doing a dual battery into a Triton will let you know what size ends up fitting in the original hole.

Also on the V6 models you have to move the carbon canister to the drivers side, only thing I had to get was 1.5m of hose to go from the metal line from the fuel tank to the canister, I just modified the metal vacumn line from the manifold to connect to the canister
