Had a quick search couldn't find anything. Very soon I'm about to start building a new tube winch batter for my 86 model hilux. Was just wondering what thickness plate do you guys think. Was leaning toward 3mm with bracing.
Also what tube thickness do you use? It's going to be 2" tube. Haven't thought much about thickness until now.
Cheers cohen

Re: Winch bar specs
I'm no expert but just medium wall tube (3.2) is heaps and easy to get. I generally use 6mm for mount plates, And 2mm sheet to fill bits in...

arb use 2.3mm wall pipe.
agree dont use checker plate, floor plate or some nuf nufs call it propellor plate, it will look nasty and CHEAP.
