It was a good weekend.

I didnt make it due to problems with my mechanic. Was up till 2am trying to get it going bu no good.

From a spectactor perspective the only critism i have is that the mud run is pretty ordinary. Can i throw an idea out there that you have all the makings of a really good mud event already there.........

Picture this:
The hill that goes from the mudrun up to the scrutineering area (currently where the crowd sit and watch) you dig up and put logs and wombat holes going up it. Have a water pump continously pumping water up the the top of it from the dam and having it run down the hill like a slow waterfall. Throw in some conveyor belt up the top to make it to the 100 points. This would also provide great viewing for everyone.

Also another brainstorm idea would be to add a $25 or so fee to each vehicle entered which would go towards a DVD. You could pass this money onto a company and this way they are guaranteed X number of sales straight off the bat. It sucks not having a DVD for keepsake.

Anyways well done to the TLCC. Thanks guys.

Another great Willowglen aside from the crapee weather of course. Congrats to Tony, Mary, Peter, and Alfie aka Kenny as the “flying squad” and all the TLCC crew.

Well done to the Extreme 4wd club coming 3rd in their fist crack at WG and to Southern Tablelands, if my failing memory serves me correctly, for their 3rd place. Stoked to be part of the winning team and to come third overall.

Congrats to Wayne Rumble on 2nd and Rob Biddle on first for some great driving…. you guys deserve the bling to go on the bar ….well done. Hard luck award to Glen Buttigieg for his rollover in the mud as we thought he mighta been in contention.

Some awesome photos below taken by Rodney from the TLCC including a shameless plug for our sponsors who help make it all possible. And of course the obligatory pic of Pricey replacing a busted diff .... it's an easy pic to get these days :finger:
Hope you enjoy them.

Cheers
Shaun
