Cheezy racing built middy- History

Post by Mosko111 »

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows of the history/ build up progress and races the tiger mica (goldy) coloured Middy cruiser??

Have seen some photo's but no video, just wondering if someone would even have a bit of footage of it?

Didnt know it had ever been finished and wheeled under its own power? I have seen many photos of it being "nearly finished" then sold.

Well it will be finished and raced by next year! Haha

has been driven under it's own power, just wanting to do a bit of a history run down on it, like who did the bulk of the work and if it was done properly

Haha, yeah she does!! I got onto a shutdown for work, so in 3 weeks time will have the deposit saved for house and I'm allowed to get a new rig

And will be just selling my cruiser to pay for this one, so won't really be losing to much money to Mr Debt..

If its the one I think it is I did the engine wiring on it a few years ago. At that stage it was at suncoast 4wd centre. Maybe bluey may know a bit of history, He did some work on it

I think that may be a different one mate, Bluey did tell me that someone who used to work for him when he had the workshop for custom Offroad had a coiled middy,

This one has a 5ltr in it so if you did work on a coil overed middy with 80 series chasis, then I'm wrong haha,
it's still in the Brissy region ATM aswell

I've been in contact with him via PM dogbreath, that's not his username though, maybe he changed it?

But he was a good help, same with Rohan the current owner,

That's the one, but it's also for sale in other places, and that's where I found it and arranged to
buy it through.

Have you checked to see what would be required to get it blue plated in QLD - I'd be doubtful it will ever comply if you want to road register it

Not so good mate, I'm currently doing a shut down with C.B.H and employed as a casual.... Even though I'm still with UGL as a full time employee (I'm taking non paid leave to do this shutdown) they won't aprove the loan I needed to get the car.. :bad-words: even though I'm on a grand extra a week doing this shuty, and repayments are only $175 a week... Has pissed me off big time! But I've let the owner know if he hasn't sold it by the time I go back to UGL and provide a full weeks payslip to te bank, that he should sell it if he has another buyer come along, no use him being out of pocket because the banks are a bunch of Hom()s...
