60 series diff into 75 series
can i put a 60 series rear centre into a 75 series troopy front diff and the 75 series front centre inthe back?????[91 model] i am contemplating doing this as i am thinking of putting auto lockers in the front and back[or the 60s diff in the rear ]sounds confusing any help appreciated, cheers mick
Re: 60 series diff into 75 series
Diffs are interchangable. Only problem might be flanges for driveshafts dont match up but they can swapped to suit.
60 diffs are wider, you will have trouble getting a front 60 diff in sprung under. Some options available with hilux hubs etc.

Re: 60 series diff into 75 series
im still keeping the 75 series housings, only want to change the centres around and if they are interchangable?
Re: 60 series diff into 75 series
Yep, they are interchangable. Like I said, flanges might be different.
78's have a smaller front diff, obviously these aren't.

Re: 60 series diff into 75 series

Re: 60 series diff into 75 series
Out of curiosity, what year/month did 75's change to HP front? I understand early HZJ75's still had the low pinion 9.5"??
