I am stripping selling a 4 runner with a V6 commodore conversion it was origionly a 5 speed with the elec select 4wd (no free wheeling hubs) will this conversion bolt to any other hilux gear box or is it different to all other hilux gear box bolt pattens?
Thanks in advance if you are able to help/give me any info

V6 commodore to 4 runner 5 speed
If you can not get there in a 4wd its not worth looking at
Re: V6 commodore to 4 runner 5 speed
The 5 speed is an R150f which would bolt to any other V6 4runner, 2LTE and 1KZTE manual diesel surfs which have the R151f. Could bolt to prado/hilux with the 3.4L 5VFE or 1KZTE most likely. As for the transfer case (chain driven with ADD) you can run it in any free wheeling hub car but from I can see you'd be better off wiring up the solenoid yourself as opposed to deleting the ADD part of the circuit and trying to make that work.
Hiluxes with the G52 etc, pretty much all of them, wouldn't have the correct gearbox bolt pattern to fit this so they'd have to take the whole lot (gearbox and all) which wouldn't be such a bad idea as the R series toyotas are miles stronger/nicer to shift than the lux boxes.
Hope this helps a bit.

What do we want? TIME TRAVEL! When do we want it? THAT'S IRRELEVANT!
