Just make some sort of effort to cover atleast most of the fr tyres.
Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.

I'm still trying to get my 105 to turn with the 40s Treps (current lack of clearance) but once that's sorted only have to worry about the huge 8' front diff and all the other things that go bang :(

On the front I had to reduce the steering a little. as was hitting the control(radius) arms but i have just recieved new steel beadlocks so may be able to wind them back a little. ill check it all out when the tyres go on the rims this weekend.

With the 40s i had more problems with the rear.Needed 2 inch spacers and had to remount the exhaust and bracket plus take the grinder to the ute/tray mounts.

Steve what is yours hitting at the front???
maybe you have flex.. mine doesnt

Woooohooooo not long now can't wait even if I'm the silly one out front. May need to see if the bigger tyres fit as worn 36's are a bit depressing

yeh will do

The Toperi crew had a gathering today and it was indicated to me that the scrutineers will expect the competing vehicles to be of good standard. Inparticular but not limited to RECOVERY HOOKS, brakes and steering. The trucks must be presented to them as they would be competing IE window nets in place, fire extinguishers secured and alike.
When you arrive at Toperi, don't set up camp and get on the soup. Get set up and get your vehicle scrutinized and your team checked in.

DX 80 wrote:When are the gates open to spectators?
Competitors can get in from 11.59am Friday. (if they really want). Spectators if camping with competitors can also arrive at that time.

We (Team 13) are pulling out. (My truck is 3 legged at the moment and am waiting on parts that I have no faith will be available by then) Just spoke to Tony and he is unsure if there are any teams on a waitlist. If anyone wants to compete but don;t have a slot please call Tony and Myself (0403087402) so we can get you guys fitted in.

See you from the sideline this year...
