Very true sadly it seams numbers thought the gates (money) is much more important than trying too provide decent area and amenities for tge people that make the event.

You can have an event without spectators but there iss NO event to see without competitors or officials

Regarding Competitors Pits area:
From 2010 to 2011 the allocated area has grown, in 2012 the area will grow again.
We can't move into the sponsors area, but we will ensure that the space is larger than 2011.

Every aspect of the event makes the event, from competitors to staff to sponsors to spectators. They are all needed to make the event possible. Not any one alone is responsible for a successful event, Its a team effort on all counts.

We strive to grow the sport & for anyone to think that its not growing is seriously kidding themselves.

A lot has happened since management change in 2009, & we are excited at the success it is showing, we again are stepping it up in 2012 in many aspects.

So lets try to focus on the positives & look forward to the most successful Tuff Truck for our 10th Anniversary.

Third year driving up from Melbourne for me (and just booked my tickets :D )
Its a great event you guys put on, with some fantastic (and friendly) teams competing.

I'm getting a little old to blow off steam like the young guys, but I think the event has reached a good balance between the families and those that wish to party on for the weekend.
It's a difficult thing to do (and there will always be the odd tosser who spoils someones weekend) - but thumbs up for the effort involved in this event.

Looking forward to March.

Third year for us towing the car all the way from WA cant believe there still hasnt been a team from South Oz in yet.

Quick question is the scoreing system for engineering going to change this year ,you could get every vehicle to list all mods to cars it has to almost impossible to get enough info just on the saturday afternoon to pick a winner.Once you have the info its then just looking to check the quality of the work.

The nominations list on the website will be updated weekly. We are working on the possibility for competitors to edit their team profile (some people need to learn what a shift key does).

In Twon's defence, he actually listens to his SuperNav. I lost count how many other teams I saw on courses where the Navi kept saying "No, I said left hand down. No, I didn't say straighten up."

Although Twon, if you're going to sing through the headset, at least make it a good song!!! :finger: and I hope you've got your jokes lined up for TTC2012, Mark is expecting some good ones!
