Goodday to all, :P

My name is Kingson. I'm new at this site. I have a few questions that needs answer.......

I am migrating to Perth shortly........end of 2004 or early 2005.

I owned a few offroaders, and am wondering if its worth the hassle to bring them in with me. If I do, how? If I don't, is it difficult to locate Series Landies in WA? Is it possible to locate PTO winches for the landies (preferably to be center mounted, front and back pull)?

My priority is still a Series landy.......... :D

Appreciate if anyone could advice. Thanks.

pack a few volvo portals in your luggage :D :D
http://www.lrocwa.org.au/ is the Lany club of W.A. ( Western Australia )
i.e Perth

Series Landies are pretty easy to find, but if you have a well setup vehicle, as I imagine you would being home of the MRFC, I would be bringing it with me.

Yeah bring it with you and then you'll find heaps of spares in WA.

And thats a second on the portals, fill the landy with them and call them spares. no import then...

You guys mentioned my thoughts.... :D

Am planning to pack some Volvo portals as well as Centipedes for spares....

Hmmm......still having doubts as to the legality of the "import"......heard from a friend from Adelaide that I cant bring in any vehicle that is available or being sold in Aust......wonder how true is that..... :?:

If it is a personal import (which it is) it is OK.

have a look here http://www.dotars.gov.au/transreg/vsb/vsb_10.htm#Personal_Imports
