easy way to unbolt dump pipe???

Hey guys, need to remove my 3 inch dump pipe to dill/tap a hole 4 egt probe, looks fiddily, thought you guys mite have
a trick or some thing to make my life easier???? any help will be much appreciated, thanks!!!

WD40 pluss a hole lot of elbow grease minus skin on knuckles

should do the trick.

yeah thats always the fun bit

i was on a trip to the simpson desert a few months ago with some mates and one of them cracked through all but one of his dump pipe studs. we removed his hole exhaurst system up to the dump pipe and tired it on with wire. it lasted the the 3000KM trip back, rather noise though.

remove the dump pipe when it is DEAD cold - don't even start it up to move it into the shed - put it where you are going to do the job the night before.

Spray bolts with WD40 or similar when you can touch the dump pipe by hand and then let it sit till the next morning.

well its all done, no skinned nuckles, suprized how much patince iv gotten in my old age!! did as bowtie landie said, took me bout 4 hrs all up, 6 stubbies, 30min of mrs wingeing!! all in all good sat arvo!! thanks 4 the help!!
