You dont have to chase a ZD30 too far as they dont run too long :D

yeah but where is the fun in that anyone can change an engine and as a diesel fitter im lookin for a challange and the grenade looks like it do a full engine balance bit mor boost and work out all the kinks juust to be different dont like bein a sheep if i can help it

yeah but theres alot of people who just keep replacing the zd30 with another zd30. its not really being different.
but i suppose having the spare motor u can just keep doing rebuild and swap overs.
some of the kinks to over come would be different intercoolers, ac compressors, turboes, alternators, belt tensioners, dump pipes.

brunswick diesel would have stock of zd30s to get rid of. they remove a fair few to put chevs in. wether they still run or not im not sure.

cheers bud i didnt even think about them. and yeah im slowly workin out the kinks have replace the inter cooler with a pwr full welded and full 3 inch pipe with custom dump pipe 2 3/4 flared out to 3 inch goes ok but next is the dawes valve system

i have a 6.2 but that is for the play car keep the shopping trolley standardish hahaha with a few mods

they have a heap of dead zd30s and a fair few still running zd30s last i heard a few months ago.

Id rather run the risk of mabee having an issue with a ZD30 rather than forking out 20k just to have the crankshaft snap within a few years.
