Re: ON TRACK 4WD CENTRE GPS RUN 21/01/2012
Well we have been and seen and it was cool! Last night we had a look on google earth and godnamit theres a short cut we missed! Pleased to say we have done nearly all the tracks, apart from the dummies spat all over the shop because "this isn't a rock crawling event!" we only had to winch once. The park is very different to the SSS GPS and its has to be gotten used to but not having to have a cage means its open to all. You do need to come along and support this event guys!!! There are 300 reasons why per round and 600 reasons why overall!! Steve thank you so much for the time and effort you put into putting this run on, thank you to all the competitors, most of whom we race with at the SSS and of course the most important one of all, a HUGE thank you to Brett at On Track for first coming up and supporting the event and most importantly providing the 300 reasons as to why we should turn up. Guys the driving is a bit tougher compared to the SSS but definately doable. We did it with BALD as in SLICK Simexs with only one winch. The terrain is steep but you can still cut your own tracks (how many depends on the size of your Kahuna's!!) and it is sooooo worth it. Come on guys support this event. cheap as chips and if we don't support it then we don't have the events to race at then we wonder why there are no events to race at ?????????????
Thanks again to everyone, Jane I hope your feeling OK after nearly dying on the run from inhalation of those fuel fumes, but your not supposed to be sucking on the exhaust lol...... Hopefully that will be fixed before next run.
Thanks again guys and don't coulda woulda shoulda justdoit!!!!
