Gear box noises

OK, so now we're officially Mexicans again. New motor went like a rocket down the Hume from Sydney, but seem to have developed a prob in the gearbox. 4th and 5th seem to be ok, but 1st, 2nd & 3rd have developed a sort of shuddering/rubbing noise. I know I've seen somebody with similar probs b4, anybody got any clue?

AJ mine makes some noise too- mainly in first and second gear at higher revs. In my case it's gearbox wear supposedly and nothing to be too worried about.

Some oils (like Castrol VMX) will help quieten down a noisy gearbox. Have you had the oil checked/ changed lately?
