REGISTERED !!!!!!!!!
Re: 25 Feb Suspension Stuff Challenge round 1
I will definately be there this year. Missed out last year due to working on my hilux buggy/truggy. Just a few finishing touches and it will be good to go
Re: 25 Feb Suspension Stuff Challenge round 1
The Suspension Stuff Challenge was set up as an introduction into the 4x4 competition scene for new drivers and stock standard 4x4 cars. By including four different classes into this competition the new drivers are still able to enjoy watching the more experienced and modified cars go through their paces
SS is a very low key type of event with the aim of a friendly family fun day out for competitors and spectators alike.
With our first round for the year only four weeks away we already have a number of new drivers registered who I’m sure will be interested in seeking information on what is required of them to compete in that next stage of 4x4 competitions on offer.
Registrations are open till 8am on the day but it does help with catering and organising marshal number requirements if you can notify us of your interest via our website

This series shaping up nicely over 10 new competitors registered so far. Suspension Stuff are sponsors again thanks to Shane and Tamie they will be putting up $150 store voucher for winners of each class each series . We usually do up something also for winners/runners up. The first year we did trophies last year we did stubby coolers what would you prefer?

Re: 25 Feb Suspension Stuff Challenge round 1
For those spectators wishing to come out we will try to post up on face book round 9am regarding the competition
Weather forecast is for showers throughout the weekend but if we go by the last two months forecasts this does not necessary mean it will be actually raining at the park.
Our entry road predicts whether the park is closed or not because if your car can’t manage to get through this first section of dirt road then the park is closed for you to drive on that day. If your vehicle can manage the muddier conditions we ask people to stick to the lower tracks and the play area. Please do not drive on the grassed camping areas.
With the lower 2x2 entry track fragile conditions we ask if you can off load and enter through our main entry up to the left. We would appreciate your respect for our neighbour’s private driveway. We need to keep this entry open for emergencies
Regards

Re: 25 Feb Suspension Stuff Challenge round 1
Forthose of us towing our comp trucks into the park are we still abled to use the 2wd entry ??
Re: 25 Feb Suspension Stuff Challenge round 1
As the regular guys know the bottom track has black soil near the farmer’s gate. If this has a lot of water on it it becomes very boggy and with a lot of vehicles using it during the wet it can overtime become impassable.
If it is possible to off load your trailers or trucks to the side of Swan Gully road on the grassed area before the bend and drive in over the top it would be great.
