How to remove hand throttle knob?

What the go with removing the hand throttle knob on a GQ.
Nothing in any of my manuals, and I dont want to break it.
Pic in the manual shows it is mounted on a small roll pin type thing

Push and turn from memory. Should have a spring in the end of the knob.

Normal use you pull it out and turn to the right to lock it in place...... if you push and turn to the left the knob should come off the cable end.
It does on my GU anyway.
My friends aren't holding me back..... I'm pulling 'em forward.

I gave my knob a push and twist and it came off in my hand :armsup:
How good is that!
