It really depends on the area/size of plenum. but generally 4mm + thick.

Thats what i thought too. Not going nuts, just an increase in flow and a change of inlet direction to suit front mount instal.

checkout the TB48 custom inlets....can be found by 'googleing' the image....they are pretty trick!

gudday tye...been awhile i know, rig still going strong besides a head gasket last year from too much advance/boost. Still hunting down a quality LMM dmax drive train without paying 16kUS! might have one outa texas ATM.

not by any means.......been running it hard for 3-4 years now, had boost set at 30psi for a long time but with the towing it wasnt going to last forever (boats 3.5 ton) so wasn't too surprised when a leak appeared.
Still hits 27psi regularly and is used as a daily drive.
I have been reading some of the recent posts and things have changed a bit since i built mine so if i was to do it again i would approach it differently for sure... ie swafftech pump/turbo, Laminova cooler/inlet etc etc.

the dmax is a new project for a GU4.... but long live the GQ!
