Air tank, compessor and air horns

Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone out there can tell me how to hookk up an ARB compessor to an air tank, and air horns (truck) I got a GU, planning to bolt the air tank under the car, drivers side between chasi rail and side step. Running out of room to put compessor in engine bay due to the dual battery.

Any ideas out there. Thanks

Plumb the line from compressor into air tank, with a pressure cut off switch somewhere in the tank or line, probably run the compressor from under your seat or behind it.
Run line to the air horns with an electric solenoid in between the tank and horns with a push button activation switch in your cab.
Simple.

What PSI can the ARB push? Rather than truck horns have you thought about just one train horn?

This is my setup..

The "valve to separate tank" is behind the centre console which I can reach while driving. Red line is 3/8", black is 1/2"

I dont use an ARB compressor but have a 110-150 pressure switch. With the valve shut, i can run my lockers without charging the whole tank. Flick the valve and I can have 40L of 150psi to run tools. That air is then regulated to 50psi for my air horn.

Nice, i quickly brainstormed that the other day while driving, was wondering how to get around filling the whole tank!! I might try an electric solenoid instead of running air lines to a tap. Although it wouldnt be all that hard as my compressor is only under my seat... But at the moment ARB has a deal where if you buy 2 lockers you get the full kit and caboodle for free. Dont think i will have enough before the high country trip next month though spewing!!!

I put a T onto my ARB compressor where the tyre inflation fitting is, through a tap so I can isolate the tank for tyre inflation, then ran 1/2 inch air line under the carpet, behind the centre console, through the firewall on the passenger side, the along the inner guard, to my tank (2kg fire extinguisher) behind the left hand side of the bullbar. Then off this is a T, with pressure relief valve, and 1/2 inch to 4 electric solenoid air horns behind the grill.
Horns are hooked up in parallel with one factory horn, so if compressor or tank dies for some reason, I am still legal with a horn. Only issue is my compressor is always on, but hasnt been an issue for almost 3 years.

I bought one of these for my setup but still havnt got around to seperating it and putting my lockers to it..... Great little unit with air blower on it open and draining it, it sits at 40 psi constant

Thank you one and all, all very helpful tips. All sorted now, copressor under passenger seat, line einto tank undr car, and line to horns. still have the electric ones for legallity.....
