Rancho IFS lift kit

A while back in 4wd monthly was a red extra cab hilx with a Rancho 3'' IFS lift kit. Was just wondering of anyone had any info on this kit? price, suppliers etc.

Ive searched the internet to no avail.

cheers mate ive beent here before. but it doesnt say anything about the 33'' lift kit. where the whole front suspension if spaced down 3'' like a pro comp of superlift kit.

Are you sure it was a rancho lit (at least a kit avaliable in Aus) as for them 3 inchs sounds like an aweful lot ...
Most of their kits are 1.5 to 2 inches ...

yeah it was a 3'' kit. not just a wind of the torsion bars and add a leaf. its a kit, bracets to space down front end, new rears, brake line extensions.

its like the yankee kits.

I don't think rancho make this kit anymore, but there are others, superlift, skyjacker etc. Waste of time and money - about $3k for the kit and $4.5k if you have it installed in a shop. Won't give you more wheel travel, just 4" more height by lowering the lower control arms and front diff via new crossmember.

Or you could sell your IFS lux, buy a late model solid axle Lux and pocket about ten grand or spend it on mods.... thats what I did.

If it was a 4runner well SAS would be the way to go.

naa im not doing SAS. looked into it and decided that i still want some resale on my lux when i decide to sell it. so i think a bolt on kit will have to do. then when i sell i can take it off.

i have found out that i can get a kit for about 1100. but then theres freight, fitting, and import duty.

You got more info on the kit greenhilux? I wouldn't mid just the front part of it???

Any websites for it?
