Spectaters.....

They are the heart and sole of winch challenges.

Ben Boulter and the megaphone
Shane fry spewing at 330 in the arvy then getting urinated on
Brett fry stealing boulters tail shaft
Me nearly breaking my ankle running into a hidden log

And that's only the first round

Yeah and that's all the stuff sponsors and organisers like to be put on a public forum in relation to their event and the people who attend it..... Good move....

Hahaha Mosko if everyone was like you we'd all have a vagina and no one would have any fun

Not all of us take winch challenges seriously. If organisers have a issue they will ring me and tell me.
You should step back and have some fun buddy all this is getting to your head.

What makes you say wtc a non family friendly event?

Can't Those who pay the $35 to camp the night get on the piss and have fun between each other? Because that's what went down. Jokes between mates.

Have a chill pill fella, and wipe your mangina

Calm down boys, it was a great weekend put on by the wtc crew and officials/volunteers. You did a good job on the mic Shieldsy and tried to keep the stuff comIng out the speakers family friendly and involved the teams racing and spectators which was good. And you even stopped drinking for your duties

And Mosko I can't think of anyone better that does such a great job of supporting and gettin the word out on events in central queensland... Or all of quensland for that matter with no bias to anyone or area at all, keep it up!

These are Family friendly events and can't do it without the sponsors, spectators and the crew that put it together so a big thanks to them, and I think all the shennanigans that did go on... If any  were all in the competitors camping area after the days events at the end of the comp.

Again thanks to all the people volunteering their time and efforts

We stage six.... :D

From memory it was 4 or 5 you took out first on? Possibly that stage where it was a drive stage with the small left hand climb that most people picked up the front left wheel on?

I think placings will go on the website? Anna is down at Lowmead this weekend, so might have to chase them up next week of she's the one who does it?

Not a bad weekend , I dont think it should call it a winch challange ,these events are becoming very similar to the Mackay challange where you have 1/2 dosen winchers for the whole weekend . We have just finish sss on the weekend and had over 30 winchers in 10 stages with good prizes for the winers I think the WTC boys need to change there format . They have great propertys to work with and still only set up 3 to 5 minute stages . How about some 30min dnf times with some real teckinal stuff. And you need to start giving prizes for the stage wins and the top 3 or you will loose a lot of competers from south.

If wtc ran longer stages we would then only be able to do a lot less stages. As the comps you do down south have half the competitors as up here mate. ( I'm not taking sides or having a go at any other comp as everyone knows I love to compete no matter what)
So if we had. 19-20 teams doing 30min stages, that's 10 hours for that stage (taking into consideration the time to read course rules, line up, make sure the real is clear do timesheet with other team, penalties all that,)

And then to be able to do 3 or 4 large stages like that then alto more officials would need to be sourced aswell, and more people to help clear the tracks. The thing with say LCMP or other already established 4x4 tracks is the land is already cleared and has been raced on or around a few times over, so the initial track set up takes a lot less time then having to clear lantana by hand and clear trees and whatever else aswell, plus clear the camping areas and access areas for spectators.

As for southerners not coming up because of prize money.... I'd personally prefer it because you buggers keep coming up and taking the podium places :finger:
