Hilux gaurd + flare options

Post by old lux »

Hey guys I got myself a LN106 lux that I wide tracked(IFS diff and locktup spacers)

I bolt my tyres up on Friday 33x12.5 on 15x8 -26 offset rim. And have close to 100mm of tyre sticking out of the guards.

ATM I have garden edging to cover the tyres. While it does the job I don't think th police will like it stocking out 125mm out of the body.

Does anyone make flares (firboglass or plastic big enough to cover my tyres?

I don't want to go change my rim offset or it defeaa the point in wide tracking it

Any ideas?

Cheers old lux

You can put on the arb ones with rubber as said but if you intend on doing reasonable tracks these are first to be damaged where as garden edging/ rubber will flex when hit/ scraped with something.

Yes brand that's what I am worried Bout. The truck gets used as a 4x4 and most trips and up with rubbing something or running into stuff lol. Does anyone know roughly how far the firboglass glass stick out? The garden edging in the hardstuff so I m affraif it'll crack.

Yeah I'm looking for another option too. Would love some like what u can get for the jeeps and what not. Bushwhackers I think they are. But I can't find any decent options.

Garden edging won't crack I assure you, I have had it on for years and my guards bounce off rocks and banks all the time with no damage. Just got to screw it in good. All you get is scrape marks on lip but no damage.

I see them fiberglass ones on all makes of trucks get torn off and damaged, no way I'd be putting them on.
