spring over 79 series

Just wonderinghow many people have done a spring over in a 79, and is it still road legal after, ideas on springs to use and anything else you think my need to be thought of.
no worried about body roll or load carrying either, wat sorts of lift am i looking at getting with it too
oh and was thinking superior drop shackles with the lock out pin, was told they rattle alot on road, can anyone shed some light on that please

Wont be legal, use flattest stock springs you can find or a mixture pack with longer main leaves. If you already have 6 inch spring lift and go SOA, you will be about the same height but with superior flex. Drop shackles only add wank factor.

Can the spring over be engineered? Ok proved my thoughts on the drop shackles, just needed to hear it from some other people

I dont know what the regs are in your state, but its probably unlikely that the modification is engineer-able.

Whys that its only the same as the hiluxs have but yer will have to look into it or just do it and don't tell anyone haha
