60 series wire diagram

Hi all
I am after a 60 series wire diagram.
I am chasing one as i am sure i will get lumped with a job to fix one.
It has a 2H motor and is located at lightning ridge where i am not.
The complete F*%kw#T who was looking after it by starting it once a week or so put battery in wrong way round and put positive to neg etc and apparently a lot of smoke came forth.
I will need to know what could be possibly be burnt out. Don't give stuff about radio. Just important stuff like Alternator etc. Wire diagram will be real handy for when i go out next time to have a look.

Look in the all cruiser bible thread for links for a download of the toyota 2H engine manual. It has wiring diagrams at the end including the colour codes for the wires. If not there check out ih8mud.com forums, or just google it. If you cant find it I might be able to email you the relevant page, but not the whole manual (<40MB)

Most likely fried the diodes in the alternator.

Can't help with a diagram though, sorry.

I originally looked in the 60 series bible before asking question but completely overlooked the very 1st link. Thanks to help, downloaded the 2H manual plus body manual.
I would have thought that the diodes would be able to handle the reverse polarity. Other things like like glow timer may be a bit stuffed tho.

The alt diodes are only designed to resist the capacity of the alt plus a bit not the full 600-800A of a starter battery.
