Suzuki Sierra lift kit options COILYS
Suzuki Sierra lift kit options COILYS
Hi I have a 1998 Suzuki Sierra SJ413 hardtop with standard coil spring suspension. Looking at 2" suspension lift kit ideas ATM. I will mainly be doing sand driving and the occasional mud and dirt tracks. Which way should I go with the suspension? I got told there is a lot to consider when lifting coil suspension.? cheers Jimmy... I'm from south Aus btw thanks
Re: Suzuki Sierra lift kit options COILYS
Not many lifts out there for the Coily as its a rarer suzuki, and unique parts only to that car.
Dont go over 2" spring/ longer shocks. Pretty simple. You shouldnt need any other parts under a 2"lift.

I agree with the above 2" lift and shocks/struts should be fine. What are your plans for it? Type of driving etc?
Black coily, lifted, twin locked, geared, 33's

I too am researching for a coily lift kit and have only found Dobbson Suspension to supply a 30mm lift front & rear.. Though apparently they'll do custom lengths aswell so im going to enquire about 50-80mm lengths..

You'll need fairly substantial castor correction for 80mm lift on a coily.

If that becomes a big drama id rather a smaller lift.. Something to suit 31's n give good flex.. I was looking at a rocky-road samurai/sierra 6" coil kit, looks pretty legit.. see what dobbson can do first though, i'll be calling them today about it

That kit is not designed for a coily sierra. It is designed to convert a leafy to coils.islandvitara wrote:If that becomes a big drama id rather a smaller lift.. Ultima supply a 40mm kit on ebay. I used to run it with a 2"bl and i could fit 30s with plenty of room.
