You can enter any event on the day, I think it may be a bit cheaper if you get in early but that may just be the camping fees.
If we can put one man on the moon, why can't we put them all there!!

Wash absolutely everything underneath the rig, everybody can make the outside of the rig gleam, but its the underside that the judges look for. Clean the floor pan, remove all traces of grease flick, spray the shafts and chassis rails for a bling 1st place.
Degrease the engine bay, get some cheap silicone spray from Woolies and spray this around the hoses and stuff, might even pay to give the motor a quick shot of paint too.
Built, not bought.

We will NOT BE STAYING at the expo site!

If all goes well, Sam and i may be heading up early Friday. I think we will be in either of the two main camping Grounds (trekka or Cowra falls).

Will be awesome to have a OUTERLIMITS camp site!

Last year when I was up there I found the campsites (trakka and cowah) to be way too packed even.

I was actually thinking of finding another spot in the park to camp....

Yes i agree, the Camping Grounds are PACKED to the MAX.

I use to camp up at the Head of the Brissy River (near the Dinner Hole), but its to far to drive each day!

I think if all the OUTERLIMITS members camp together everyone else will be to scared to come near us!

Is anyone on here heading up THURSDAY????????? If so we might get you to BUNT of a huge area for all of the O/L people!!!!!

Department Trasnsport

Post by heathgu »

I have heard a rumour from a mate in brisbane, that the department of transport plan to have a mobile unit outside of kilcoy on road to Landcruiser Mountain Park on expo weekend stopping all mod trucks.

He thinks they plan to be there from Friday Lunch thru to sunday afternoon.

Not sure if a rumour to scare people or true?

Has anyone else heard this. If i find out more will let you know.
Cheers Heath.

I have heard this every year that Expo has been on and i am yet to hear of anyone that has actually been done by any set up operation. A few have been randomly grabbed passing through Cabulture but i have never seen or heard of an organised bust at all actually happening.

But saying this it realy wouldnt surprise me if they were there. It would be the perfect opertunity for it.

Im Safe im towing my rig up there.
