balljoint spacers and diff drop spaces ifs risks, question :)

Post by team_hilux »

are there any increased risks if im using 1.5 inch balljoint spacers? even if i have installed diff drop spacers and swaybar spacers aswel? on a ifs hilux....with tortion bars adjusted up..

i think that the balljoint spaces would put the cv on a harsh angle, if the tortion bars a adjusted all the way up, so you adjust the tortion bars down that inch...but then you would get that extra downward travel, again harsh cv angle...so then install the diff drop spacer to level the cv, adjust the tortion bars (all way up or one inch down from max)..... problem solved??

I run 1.5" balljoint spacers on my ECORS race truck. No diff drop. Not sure where the torsion bars are in relation to stock, as I've had them loose several times when measuring for shocks.

The only "problem" I've had, is the inner CV boots tore, but they were 20 years old. But I just replaced them with some new ones.
