Opposite Lock Toowoomba Round 3 is on 13th and 14th of October at Janowen Hills 4x4 Park..

4 Classes , $60 entry fee and normal park fees apply.
IFS Class - for IFS cars up to and including 33 inch tyres no lockers.
Standard Solid Axle Class - for solid axle cars up to and inc 33 tyres.
Locked Class - cars with lockers and up to and inc 35 inch tyres.
Modified Class - for cars with reduction gears, exo cages etc.

Entry level comp for the average joe to have a go. FOR FUN. you dont need roll cages and winches etc. and its not timed so you arent racing. We set a track and you have to drive it clean, you loose points for hitting cones etc.

Do the cars have to be registered to enter your comp

Gaza, in standard and locked class you need rego as you have to get the extended 3rd party. However you dont need rego in Modified class. Modified class is up to and inc 37 tyres, your allowed reduction gears , lockers NOT allowed rear steer , or diggs.

Common 4bys in this class are Hiluxs running 3 inch lift on 35s , so its not over the top.

Hey mate, im pretty sure lockers are allowed in modified class. Just not rear steer or diggs. Kirby will correct me if im wrong however. Will see you there, once i get my rig running properly.

Gaza, I think you read it wrong.. Lockers are allowed.
Whats not allowed is rear steer or diggs.
So if you have a winch truck with 37s or less and lockers and reduction gears and not registered you can enter the modified class.

Gaza, Ill put you on the list, I take it its the chopped 60 ? whats your email or phone number ?
On the day you need to bring Helmets, Gloves, Drivers Licences, $60 entry fee for the comp, you will need window nets, fire extingusher, and working reverse lights. all this is checked between 7.30am to 8 am Saturday morning at the park..

Well the weekend turned out awesome , the weather was fantastic after the 60 knot cold winds on Friday.
We had a good mixture of tracks from long to short to hard to not so hard..
.
There was a little bit of damage on a few trucks but it always amazes me how everyone jumps in to give a hand to people they dont even know to help them out and get them going again..
What really amazed me was Mad Matt didnt break anything.. first time in about 5 years.. Brendo would have been proud..
But i know he was working on other peoples trucks for most of saturday night..
.
The big white Defender went really well and is a force to be reconed with.
The Vitaras amaze me with were they can go , they jump up the track like mountain goats.
We had drags Saturday arvo which was great way to finish of Saturday , the Jeeps are pretty damn quick.
