Chain to gear drive adaptor plates
Hey guys, can any one confirm 100% if The adaptor plates for the r series gearbox to go from chain drive to gear drive are the same on a g series to adapt from chain drive to gear drive?
My gearbox is from a 2004 ln167, I was going to change to older g52 with gear drive just because it's cheaper but working out what's best to do since I have a gear drive 21 spline transfer with 4.1 gears in the shed..
Going to be going 37's soon so think I'll need the crawler gears..
Cheers brad

That's why I thought I'd ask the question..
But if not hopefully they are open next week..

Re: Chain to gear drive adaptor plates
Keep the R series box and adapt a gear driven case to it, locktup will help ya out funny that no ones answering.
plenty of parts on the bench
Re: Chain to gear drive adaptor plates
Hey Brad, not sure why you couldn't get through...
Your G52 will have a 26 spline output so won't work with a 23 spline chain to gear kit.

Re: Chain to gear drive adaptor plates
Thanks chris, yeh tried all week at different times but would ring out n go to message bank.
Well at least it makes it easier to decide, might change to different g52 for now so I can use my transfer with the crawler gears and then when I have more money go r series with adaptors and 23 spline gears etc.etc.
Thanks for the reply's
