Sons first car

Post by retired »

My son just brought a gq for first car. Has a violent shudder in front end. Is this common and how or who to fix??

very common.

Replace panhard rod bushes with genuine rubber bushes. 9 times out of 10 it will fix it. get any poly bushes in the front end changed with rubber ones if its not 100%, then start playing with wheel bearing, swivel bearing etc.

Hay mate check the front lower control arm bushes if they are split right open, that can cause the front diff housing to move around while driving and cause problems cheers Rick.
