What classes are helmets compulsory in? I will be competing in street modified this weekend. As a new face!

Are reduction gears or wheel spacers allowed in this class? Also what other safety mods are needed to compete?

Looking forward to it!

If you are in street mod spacers will not be an issue. The other safety mods are you only drive what you are comfortable driving. Seatbelts and no items out side open windows is the rules. The tracks are not designed to break you.

If you entre standard don't use the centre diff lock. All other classes you can use it.

I'm still trying to work out if you're a comic genius or not....

A centre diff only engages 4wd as it would be engaged in a normal 2wd/4wd vehicle.

Precisely. I'm surprised he's been told not to use it in a particular class.

Which retard said he's not allowed to do that? So he can't have 50/50 drive to the front and rear diffs in a 4wd comp? Surely this is a gee up?

No one running a comp could be that stupid.

I'm sure it was either a typo or he was confusing it with an axle diff lock rather than a center diff lock (transfer case). Easy mistake when you're reading fast I guess.

That's the same sort of excuse westeen use when they're caught with a t-girl in Thailand. I doesn't work then, and it won't wash now.

Yeah was talking about the gearbox ctrl dif lock. I was totally confused myself so thanks for the support guys but I thought I'd ask anyway. After my previous experience with rule interpretations in the early years, apparently a car that came stock with an LED was also counted as a traction aid??? Lucky me I'd say, and using an after market locker during any stage encumbered penalty points. O well I don't have that car anymore
