Will 35" tyres work ok with std axles and no lockers. Is there a chance they will still break

You can break standard axles on 31s if you drive tough terrain.big wheel sigma wrote:35's

I would suspect 35s will have you driving so cautiously you would be hesitant to use the vehicle to its full potential.
My most resent experience with standard axles was in Reggie, a 1991 range rover with 3" lift and 33s. Standard 24spline axles out of a later model and I took it off road a number of times and somehow managed not to break any axles. I did destroy two third members thou.
If you are considering 35s I would recommend doing as I did and carrying a full set of spares. Or a wiser choice would be to upgrade the differentials.
