Ok so this might seem like a dumb question but i could use a hand on working out what my ratios would be. I have an LN106 and at the moment have the rear diff out and have counted the ring gear. 35 teeth. would that give me a 3.55 ratio???
Cheers.
Count the crown wheel teeth.... count the pinion teeth... count both ACCURATELY... then divide the big number by the little number..... that's your diff ratio... some diffs have the numbers stamped on the edge of the crown wheel (like 10 x 37) but I don't know if the LN106 does....
My memory says that they are a 4.3 but just count the number of teeth on the crown wheel and pinion and divide the number on the crown wheel by how many is on the pinion.
That will give you your ratio.
Cheers,
Shane
