The way I do the start order has been the same every year, this year was hard because we got so many entries so quick.

This is the rule regarding stops. You will get 6 stops per stage ( which includes stopping for any reason at all ) for a car on 37" tyres, 40" tyres -1 stop, 42" tyres -2 stops, rear steer -1 stop. You will get 50 secs per stop of STOP TIME, this can be accumulated. So a car on 37's has 5 mins of STOP TIME per stage, you can stop at an obstacle and pack for 3 mins if you want, but remember any stops after that will have to been quicker. And everytime your front car has stopped more than likely your back car has stopped, so you will both be losing STOP TIME. As well you will be penalised 5 points for every stop.

We may take some more pics today after our final working bee, the tracks look excellent, we all want to get out there and drive them! The weather will be picture perfect next weekend, but the nights may be a little cool.
There was a mistake in the rules I only put 42" tyres & rear steer.
Good Luck!

Just so I/ We understand the stop rule.

Is this correct? If the 1st car goes back to tow the 2nd car .Would that be 20 points lost to the team. car 1 (5 points for stop) car 2 (15 points, 10 for tow,5 for stop)?

And winching would be 30 points. (5 for stop, 25 for winching)?

From what i have read on this thread you get the stop penalty when you have stopped to put tow rope or hook winch on BUT
you do not get the penalty to unhook the strap or winch.
thank you steve

You may need a trailer Steve if you break a hub gear and puncture a tyre or two

So a car running 37's has no penalty advantage over a car with 40's? Is that right?

The way I read it the 40's just get one less stop.

Hey Evan
I didnt think u were coming. Whats happening with the bundy?

No fires this year, we r in total fire ban and its really dry out here. So anyone even thinking of sparking up a fire will be in trouble. Gas cooking only
