Yeah i wouldn't have thought the tracks were hard enough for the buggies.
Let them run but they have to run bald 31inch highway terrains at 40 psi :D
Should even the field out nicely
and only run 3 wheels at that ;)

Just because you have a buggy doesnt mean it will walk over the tracks.. My new buggy has a wheel base of 118" probly about 6" longer than most TTC and comp cars more set up to run speed not crawl..
Hell Raiser 4 seat social buggy..

I reckon if you can't walk over the tracks at Toperi in a buggy you should consider selling it!
if it has tit's, wheels or a motor you better have money

Have 2 classes?

It's starting to get hard now cos people want to be able run 37s on a lux and be competitive then penalize the crap out of the higher modded trucks.
Either have classes or pick a target market I recon.
Having a buggy class with limited numbers would be good. Just cos people have buggys doesn't mean they need the hardest tracks available. Toperi tracks would be just as fun in a buggy!

Look on youtube of Barzook driving track 1. I think he fell asleep half way up he track and the zook drove the rest by itself.

Toperi would be piss easy in a buggy and in reality probably pretty boring. There would be little to no challenges.

The buggys are a minority anyway. The majority of comp trucks are still bodied and 37's to 40's.

And will continue to be a minority if comp don't start having classes and getting more out there.
I recon say 30 teams of cars and 10 teams of buggys?

The majority of Comp trucks are on 40s, have every panel smashed in from driving buggy lines and would rather be driving buggies. Toperi tracks are easy, easy for buggies anyway. There`s plenty of rock out there, just needs to be blown up to make some new rock gardens. I`d rather drive Rock than mud and water and shit log tracks anyday.
Truggies are wanna be buggies !

Lol. I agree, for the 5 + hours of driving to get out to Toperi, the tracks arent really challenging enough, and more to the point, havent got huge amounts of rock. They are all logs and mud holes and loose climbs etc..... Also the way the penalty system works out there, its simply not worth it in the heavy modded trucks because you have to do 10 hours of towing for only best part of 25 mins driving for the whole weekend.

Toperi is a great competition for the trucks that are currently running in it. The biggest thing they need to do is run 2 more tracks to make it 3 each day or even 4 each day, and cut the numbers back a little to help manage cues. Forget about trying to run buggies out there and concentrate on a select Market that it currently has and improve the comp as years go by as Evan said.

They will open a buggy class and get maybe 4 running in it due to distance and the type of driving....... not worth it.
