Well we've just left, awesome weekend. Worst weather but I think everyone had a good time!

everyone get out ok benny? when i was there the creeks were swelling pretty quick and the access roads where dam greasy.

Congratulations to all competitors who put in a fabulous effort in some pretty appalling weather conditions to make the first Rumble on the rocks a great event. A big thanks to Liam from 4wd tv and Shane from Dirt comp magazine who braved the conditions to get some great footage and photos, so keep your eye out for this.

Also a big thanks to Matt, Gary and Doug who helped keep everything flowing for the weekend, and to all those that helped set up this event.

The water in the creek crossings on the access roads were only 1/3 of the way up the 40's on my buggy.
Funny thing is the buggy was on my trailer.

What a weekend! Thanks to Steve and all his officials, you set some good fun tracks. And big arms up to all the competitors who punished there cars in those crazy conditions. It was certainly an experience I won't forget any time soon!

Well Done to the podium guys & thanks to Steve & fellow officials on the weekend.
Worst camping conditions I have experienced in a long time.
My son & I had half the insect world trying to keep dry inside our tent but didn't bother us too much.
Had an adventure getting to the tracks on Saturday in my work ute (stock RA Rodeo with bald rear tyres) which ended up with a tow by some guys in the white lux (thanks guys appreciate it ) & the trip back with the Rodeo wedging itself hard against a greasy rutted bank up to my window. Mick Sweeney & Guts orchistrated a quick recovery & got it back to camp with only a minor sill bash & a torn off alum. sidestep
It was a shame the buggy wasn't built for the conditions as we had to DNS the last stage due to computer mounted less than 1/2 metre off the ground & the air filter pod sitting out front with it's mouth wide open. Hurt us in the morning stage on Sunday as well with Dave using me as a depth gauge on a few occasions, got some smashed up shins as proof
Had a great time competing however & we are keen to come back & do some social wheeling especially doing Sunday mornings track in reverse, absolutely awesome track. Only this time I won't be running up & down the tracks, my legs are absolutely killing me & Sunday's track was just plain MURDER !!!

some sponsors starting to come on board for this one, Off road boss, buds customs, autobarn slacks creek, Also spoke to simon at the 4wd show on the weekend and hes pretty keen to come up to this one as well. And yes brett a bit of drier action would be good this time.
