double din GPS unit in sierra

Post by albatross »

Hi all

Double din GPS unit in a sierra (95, 1.3 stock)

I can't find anything on this; google, search, carrier pigeon, etc. Someone must have done something like this? I can't be the first!

Looking at the fascia I'll have to cut the black plastic and maybe make a support, maybe using the current support bolted onto the feet air vents.

Anyone with ideas/links?

Thanks

Have fun with that! They are only built for a single din.

Anything gps most people buy a small one to fit in the top pocket.

Or nothing at all if you don't want it stolen

Is there any particular reason you need double din? There are still some great head units with DVD, GPS ect in a fold out single din unit.
