That's the 4x4 masters series.

No they stopped it for some reason (I don't know why)

The tracks would still be there, way too much work involved to move it all out, but theres been no 4x4 comps there for at least a year.

from what i understand there was a big falling out with the organisers of the comp, the tracks as far as im aware are still there, and last i heard there was talks of getting a comp up and running there again..
Zooks are for people that aren't afraid of angles and who have nothing to compensate for

went out to the top gear festival at eastern creek the other week
and they where being used then

For a comp or just "driver training" type thing mate?

I am keen as to get out and have a drive at Eastern Creek.
Especially now I have a trailer rig :)

Only the 'access' tracks were being used, by 'Getabout' 4WD Training/Tours with some loaned Landrovers.

Spoke with their reps on the day; although the OPW beast was there, it was not allowed to drive the tracks. Was good exposure for TT and 4WDing in general, but one would hope that at a motorfest like the Top Gear festival they can overcome the obstacles (no pun intended) for 4WDing to feature if this event comes around again.
