bundera front diff

Post by stuart45 »

Hi, currently building up a bundera soft top with injected 5l/t700, up to the diff strengthining part, i know the front bundera diff housing/center is the same as the 80 series but are the cv's, swivel hubs, etc the same? also i have an 80 series rear housing and a 60 series complete diff, i know the center will fit but will the 60 axles fit in the 80 housing, any help would be appreciated. thanks

Front is pretty much a hilux diff with a high pinion center.
80 diff is wider than the bundy/lux ones

A bundy front diff, the centre is a little more inset, making axles a different size to a hilux.

I would sell the bundy and fit a hilux front diff. Axles are easier to find.

80 series and 60 series diffs are wider than a bundera's. Bunderas are hilux size front and rear. Smaller centres compared to rear cruiser

I am talking about the coiled Bundera. There is no leaf model.
